About

One brand, one coast, one van

Oceanfront Range Service has worked Wolf cooking equipment on this barrier island since 2016 — 10 years of the same salt, the same water and the same kitchens.

  • Why only one manufacturer?

Because the parts, the service literature and the failure patterns are specific. A technician who works nine brands sees each one a few times a year. We see Wolf cooking equipment every week, on the same island, with the same corrosion behind the same baffles. If your fault is on another make, we will tell you on the phone and you will not be charged for the call.

  • What does independent mean here?

It means no franchise agreement, no national call centre and no dispatcher between you and the person who does the work. It also means we hold no manufacturer appointment: we are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the maker of your appliance, and we do not describe ourselves as anything of the kind.

  • Why the beaches and not the whole city?

Because exposure is the whole job out here. Salt aerosol that never gets rinsed off an indoor surface, roughly 68 thunderstorm days a year working on control boards, and cottage kitchens with cabinet openings cut before the appliances existed. We stay inside a radius we can reach the same week, and we know which street is which.

  • Why is there no address on this site?

We are a mobile service. There is no counter to walk into, no parts window and no showroom, so publishing a street address would list a place you cannot visit. The van comes to the kitchen; the bench work happens after the diagnosis is agreed.

How we actually work a call

Three habits, and they are the whole difference between a diagnosis and a guess with a part number attached to it.

We measure before we quote

Manifold pressure with burners running, not at rest. Spark at every electrode. Element resistance cold and hot. Static pressure across a hood at the speed you actually use. A reading either matches the fault or it does not, and that decides the part.

We tell you when to stop

A corroded blower housing on a hood that is a decade into beach service can cost more than the capture it restores. When a repair is not economic against the appliance, we say so, take the diagnostic and leave. That is a worse day for us and a better one for you.

We write down the number

Parts, labor and the return trip, itemised, before anything is ordered. No verbal ranges that grow once the panel is off. If the diagnosis changes when the part arrives, the estimate is reissued before the work continues.

What we can and cannot claim

  • EPA Section 608 certified technicians. Federal refrigerant-handling certification, genuinely held.
  • Independent, owner-operated. No franchise, no call center, no dispatch layer between you and the technician.
  • Genuine OEM parts. Ordered from OEM parts distributors, never aftermarket substitutes.

Book a diagnostic

Tell us the model and what it is doing. We come to the island, find the fault, and put the number in writing.
